Travel Notes – A pilot idea
Alexis has the great idea to do a travel show that features local music instead of the usual food and tourist info. I think it’s a great idea. I sure would like to check out the music scene in, say, Barcelona!

Jeff and Darlene had a beautiful wedding at The Arbor Terrace back in October. This fun couple met online playing “World of Warcraft!
We used our new Panasonic Lumix GH1 HD cameras. Amazing quality and they are so small. Love it!

One month married...
We had fun shooting some extra video and photos at the
lighthouse and Belmont Park. I love to keep my hands in
photography, too!
Sometimes the process of planning a wedding can be almost as fun as the wedding itself! We sneaked a little camera along for the ‘journey’…
Okay and I confess I love watching ‘Say Yes to the Dress’!

I am always curious about how people met. April and Tom told me their story of how they met on a blind date in Paris. Tom was living in Spain at the time, before long April was living there too! Their intimate romantic wedding at the Mission Bay Hyatt reflected their romantic courtship. April decorated the tables with exotic orchids and beautiful postcards from foreign cities. No matter where their journeys take them you can tell they were meant to travel together.

Alexis and James had a really fun wedding and afterward I found myself saying what I hear
from just about every couple I work with, “The wedding went so fast! I can’t wait to see the video and photos!”
Although I didn’t ‘work’ this wedding, I casually shot a little piece of their first dance. What a great job they did on the choreography!
I always love to capture the look on the groom’s face when he sees his bride for the first time!

The look says it all!

October is coming and it is a very busy month for weddings. On a personal note, Alexis, my wonderfully talented partner will be getting married! She and her finance, Dr. James Zimmerman will be tying the knot at the San Diego Yacht Club. Everyone asks me, will you be doing the video? Heck no, this is one wedding where I plan to simply be a guest (easier said than done).
