Chemistry x 2

Chemistry x 2 from Classic Filmworks on Vimeo.

There must have been chemistry when these two met in pharmacy school because now they are husband and wife! Not only do they love science but they love to travel and have been all over the world. They even had a game at their reception where the guests could vote for their honeymoon destination. You’ll have to watch the movie to find out where it will be, though!

Midnight in Paris

We were so excited when Catherine called us about filming her wedding to Brian. We’ve known and worked with Catherine, who is a premiere wedding coordinator and stylist in San diego, for more than ten years. We were also delighted for Catherine to have found the love of her life! Brian proposed to her in Paris at midnight – it doesn’t get much more romantic than that. Standing in front of a candlelit fireplace at the Hotel Parisi they exchanged their vows. After that there was much laughter, fun, food and dancing!

A Poetic Wedding Story

Thad proposed to Viet in Maui with a poem and of course she said yes! Their unique wedding day was sprinkled with poetry, first written in their cards and gifts and later with their wedding vows.
The ceremony took place at The Marston House in San Diego and their reception was at The US Grant Hotel .
They had so many wonderful & creative touches at both the ceremony and reception. I especially liked the photo wall with their own photos and the handmade props. They also had a shave ice station, a lounge and a wonderful band to keep things going! They were such a fun couple and so in love!

Return to Whidbey Island

For native islanders Karla and Mike, their long awaited wedding signaled their return to Whidbey Island and their families. Mike spent 5 years fishing in Alaska, yes the ‘Deadliest Catch’, while Karla pursued her theatrical career in Hollywood. Every detail of this wedding was beautifully crafted from the driftwood arch to the lighthouse cake. I like to think of Karla keeping the lantern lit while Mike was fishing in Alaska. Karla’s cousin, Ross ‘The Intern’ Mathews was the MC and Morgan Taylor Reid did the music, so fabulous! This film highlights their wonderful wedding ceremony and time we spent on the island with them.

Be sure to notice the pair of Bald Eagles we caught at the top of the trees towards the end of the film!

Kismet!

Kismet! Brian & Tracy from Classic Filmworks on Vimeo.

Brian and Tracy never met while they attended the same college but were introduced later on and it was kismet. It was well worth forfeiting the $150 Brian had just paid for Match.com! Two years after their first meeting they tied the knot at the beautiful Los Willows in Fallbrook.

Valerie and Gil were literally an ocean apart when he met her on a vacation to the Philippines. Geography is no match for love though. After a long distance romance they closed the gap and were married in San Diego.
